Our magnificent carpets continue to inspire artists and designers. Worldwide known Azerbaijani designer Rufat Ismayil showed his Sumakh Haute Couture collection during the Paris Fashion Week. The collection was presented with the support of Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the State Committee on Work with Diaspora and in collaboration with the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum.
Sumakh collection, created by the designer in an incredibly short time, on a wave of inspiration and with great love, consists of 21 dresses. Patterns unique in their beauty and color from carpets Chelebi, Karabakh, Shabalid-Buta, Nelbekigul, Achma-Yumma, Goja, and Khanlig sparked the design of the dresses.
