Today, Sevgi Kurtuluş, the spouse of the First Deputy Chairman of the​ Justice and Development Party (Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi, AKP), and​ Leyla Bağcı, the spouse of the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Azerbaijan, visited our museum.​

Today, Sevgi Kurtuluş, the spouse of the First Deputy Chairman of the​ Justice and Development Party (Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi, AKP), and​ Leyla Bağcı, the spouse of the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Azerbaijan, visited our museum.​

Dr Shirin Melikova, museum director, welcomed guests and gave detailed information about the museum's history, its activities, and collections. She mentioned cooperation with Turkish cultural institutions, especially the joint project with the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts (TIEM).​ Dr Melikova presented the guests with the exquisite catalog​ Azerbaijani Carpets from the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts Collection.
