May 9 marks Victory Day over fascism in World War II. The bravery and extraordinary courage of the Azerbaijani people for this glorious victory are the perfect examples of patriotism for the young generation. The heroic combat history of 600 thousand of our compatriots, 170 thousand of whom were awarded orders and medals, and 130 Azerbaijanis were awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union are clear evidence of that.
It should be noted that one of the sons of Azerbaijan who fearlessly and courageously fought for the great Victory is Kamil Aliyev, the outstanding carpet artist, People's Artist.
