The Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum organized a meeting for students with the artist Nino Kipshidze as a part of the exhibition Fragments of Being. Students of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts and the Sabah groups of the Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts joined the event.
Dr. Shirin Melikova, Director of ANCM spoke about the oeuvre of Nino Kipshidze and the peculiarities of her works, the splendid composition of the exhibited textile panels, and their wonderful color harmony. She also noted that the works of Nino Kipshidze breathed new life into contemporary Georgian textile art.
Later the participants of the meeting toured around the exhibition space together with the artist, asked questions, and shared their impressions.
