The delegation led by Ozodbek Ahmadovich Nazarbekov, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan visited the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum (ANCM).
Dr. Shirin Melikova, Director of the ANCM welcomed the guests and guided a tour around the museum's permanent exhibition and Jewelry Fund. Dr. Melikova remarked the history of the museum, its collections, our rich national heritage, the Azerbaijani carpet weaving art. She also noted the achievements of the recent years such as enrichment of the museum collections, projects on inclusivity, and an increase of international relations.
The delegation expressed their satisfaction with the introduction to our tangible cultural heritage. Ozodbek Nazarbekov, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan left a note in the museum’s guest book.
It should be noted that Ozodbek Nazarbekov visited our country to join The Nizami Ganjavi International Forum on the topic Nizami Ganjavi: Bridge between Cultures organized within the Year of Nizami Ganjavi.
